This week, as we celebrate both Customer Service Week and Financial Inclusion Week, ASA International is proud to reaffirm what has been at the core of our lending model since the start: Client Protection.
These global themes remind us that true customer service and meaningful financial inclusion can only be achieved when clients are treated fairly, transparently, and with respect.
Although our operations have long been aligned with the Client Protection Principles (CPP), we have now formalised this commitment by signing the CPP Joint Statement and ensuring that each of our subsidiaries has joined the CPP Pathway, initiatives led by Cerise+SPTF to help financial service providers strengthen and implement client protection in practice.
Why this matters: it reaffirms our values, strengthens trust with stakeholders, and ensures consistency across our markets.
This is an important moment to mark for us as a company, but also a commitment to our clients, whose trust is the foundation of everything we do.
