Last week, ASA International brought together country CEOs from across our Group along with the Group Executive Committee in Ghana for our 2026 CEO Summit - a week defined by alignment, ambition, and shared purpose, held under the theme of: “Built to last, ready to scale”.
The summit created an in-person opportunity to discuss and reflect on strengthening the foundation of the business, our refined strategy, and expanding medium- and long-term growth ambitions and how this is achieved across all our markets. With several new leaders having joined in the past year, it was an important moment to connect as one team and set the tone for the road ahead.
The summit started in Accra where the new ASA Ghana headquarters was officially opened. Standing alongside the Ghana team made the milestone especially meaningful. This new office is more than a building; it represents our long-term commitment to the market, to our clients and to the colleagues who drive our work every day. Starting the week in that space grounded our discussions in what sustainable growth requires: strong foundations, committed teams and trusted local leadership.
This was followed by a digital deep dive, including a live demonstration of our new Digital Financial Services app. For many, it was the first time seeing the application in action and experiencing how it supports our frontline teams in real time and materially enhances our client experience. It clearly demonstrated how digital innovation is driving efficiency, enabling scalability and meeting our clients’ evolving needs.
Through focused group sessions at a conference venue which incorporated open dialogue and peer exchange, we challenged ourselves, shared lessons from a group and local markets perspective, and clarified the practical steps needed to deliver on our ambitions.
