ASA MFB Pakistan was honoured at the Renaissance of Microfinance Conference on 7 October 2024 with the Impact Investment Award (Champions Category) and Top Microfinance Bank – Active Borrowers (Conventional Category).

ASA Kenya was recognised as 1st Runners-Up in the Overall Market Access Enabler Award category at the 2nd SME Enabler Awards Ceremony organised by the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) on 27 June 2024.

ASA Rwanda received the Best Financial Employer of the Year award in the Microfinance and SME category at the Rwanda Women in Business Awards and Conference (RWIBAC) on 25 April 2025, for its strong commitment to gender diversity and the advancement of women in the workplace.

PAGASA Microinsurance (MBA) received a Special Citation Award from the Insurance Commission of the Philippines on 21 March 2024, recognising its contribution to nation-building through financial protection for Filipinos via sustainable and globally competitive operations.

ASA International (Rwanda) Plc received a Vote of Thanks recognition from Dorcas Consolation Family in 2025 for its contribution to community health insurance and economic resilience initiatives. The recognition acknowledges ASA Rwanda’s efforts to strengthen financial security and well-being within local communities.

ASA International (Rwanda) Plc received the Service Excellence Award – Microfinance of the Year from Karisimbi Events in 2025. The award recognises the institution’s commitment to delivering high-quality financial services and supporting inclusive economic growth in Rwanda.

ASA Microfinance Tanzania was recognised by ABSA Bank Tanzania on 1 October 2025 for its contribution to empowering women entrepreneurs through financial inclusion and capacity building initiatives. The recognition highlights a four-year partnership between ASA and ABSA that has supported financial literacy training and financing for women-led small businesses across Tanzania, reaching more than 50,000 women entrepreneurs and helping them strengthen their businesses and livelihoods.

ASA Microfinance (SL) Ltd. was awarded MFI with the Highest Outreach by the Sierra Leone Association of Microfinance Institutions (SLAMFI) in November 2025. The award recognises ASA Sierra Leone’s leading role in expanding financial services to underserved communities and reaching a large number of microfinance clients across the country.

2023

ASA Tanzania received the esteemed "Champion African Company of the Year - 2023 in Financial Services to Vulnerable Groups." Their triumph extended across three pivotal categories: 1. Champion in Financial Services to Vulnerable Groups; 2. Champion in Customer Focus; and 3. Overall Champion. This recognition highlights ASA's outstanding commitment and leadership in providing financial services to vulnerable communities.

Following the financial week organized by the Bank of Tanzania and Ministry of Finance, ASA Tanzania's team was honored with the "Best Microfinance Provider of the Year 2023" at the Africa Company of The Year Awards (ACOYA) 2023. Competing against fifteen top-tier microfinance service providers, ASA Tanzania came out on top, underscoring its remarkable portfolio growth and the high satisfaction levels of its clients. This accolade reinforces ASA Tanzania's position as a distinguished player in the microfinance sector.

ASA Savings and Loans (‘ASA S&L’) has been recognized by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) as the "Most Dedicated and Compliant Taxpayer of the Year 2022." This accolade underscores ASA S&L's contribution to the national development of Ghana and its communities, solidifying its role as a valued partner in fostering economic growth.

ASA S&L clinched two esteemed accolades in the Ghana Microfinance Institutions Network (GHAMFIN) Award Ceremony 2023: (a) Best Microfinance Methodology and (b) Highest Outreach in Rural Areas. These awards reinforces ASA S&L’s innovative approach and significant impact on rural communities.

2022

Secured the 32nd position in Kenya on the “FT - Africa’s fastest Growing Companies 2022” ranking, a list of the Top 75 companies in Africa that have achieved the highest compound annual growth in revenues between 2017 and 2020. Ranked 5th out of the 10 financial service providers participating. Recognition of Financial times in partnership with Statista.

Received the 11th position in the “Ghana Club 100” and placed highest of the Companies offering savings and loans. Awarded by Ghana Investment Promotion Center on behalf of the Government of Ghana. This year the award reviewed performance of the past three years, as it was postponed due to Covid-19.
